Pulse Communications was tasked to create a strategic public relations campaign to support the launch of TEDA’s Inaugural Tshwane Energy Summit. The core objectives were to raise awareness of TEDA’s solution-oriented approach to Tshwane’s electricity challenges, promote innovative energy technologies, support the City’s Climate Action Plan, foster collaboration among stakeholders for a more reliable power grid, and encourage knowledge-sharing of best practices and energy roadmaps—especially for SMME participation.
We executed a strategic PR campaign blending targeted media outreach with compelling content development. Four core press releases were rolled out to generate media interest before, during, and after the summit. We supported these efforts with thought leadership placements in the media to reinforce TEDA’s leadership in sustainable energy. Our media relations work included crafting targeted media lists, securing trade-exchange partnerships, managing event media logistics, and creating a dedicated media space for journalist engagement, ensuring widespread media participation and industry-wide visibility.
