The South African Sommeliers Association (SASA) has established itself as an integral part of the food and wine industry in South Africa. SASA is a non-profit organisation that offers internationally recognised Sommelier qualifications to all its members and organises the best sommelier and best young sommelier competitions in alternating years. 

Client brief

Pulse Communications was commissioned to generate awareness in right-fit media titles nationally on the new certification available for sommeliers and drive interest and attendance to a fundraising gala for the organisation.

Our Work

In order to support the client’s objectives, Pulse Communications drafted compelling content in order to create interest and awareness on the newly launched certification for sommeliers nationwide; as well as SASA’s fundraising gala dinner. This content was used to not only pitch to right-fit media nationwide, but also shared with wine producers and restaurateurs nationally to drive membership.
